Alan Jackson- “Country Boy”

Alan Jackson can sure write a country song, can’t he?  “Country Boy” covers some of the ground that Luke Bryan’s “Country Man” doesn’t cover.  The fact that the two songs have similar themes and similar titles doesn’t seem to be a problem because a Country Man/Boy is a complicated individual with many variations and quirks.  Alan’s focus is from a more mature vantage point and sounds like a biographical lyric for the most part.  He has a good connection with song which has a quality melody and great vocals.  Just another song in a long line of great music for Alan.  Looks like another #1 for him as well.
