What is the CML Chart Interactive?
The CML Chart Interactive (CMLCI) is a way for you to help create the CML Chart every week.  After I do the calculations for the posted week of the Top 60, I determine what songs are being removed.  Songs are voted on to replace these songs and songs must “climb the ladder” so to speak.  All songs start off as 1 Star songs.  Songs that meet certain requirements are the ones eligible to be voted to 2 Stars.  Once a song wins on the 2 Star Poll, it then becomes eligible for the 3 Star Poll.  Only 2 Star songs can become 3 Star songs.  A win on the 3 Star poll makes that song a 3 Star song.  Songs are part of this process until they reach 5 Star status or until they meet one of the requirements for removal from the charts.

There are point values attached to songs and how many stars they have.  The more stars, the more points.  A 5 Star song gets 60 points for the CML Chart, where the most points they can get is 100.  Your votes make a difference in this chart because you help the songs get more points and get higher on this chart.

Voting:
There are two songs to vote for on the 5 Star Poll, three songs to vote for on the 4 Star and 3 Star Polls, and four songs to vote for on the 2 Star Poll.

CML Chart Interactive: 11/29 to 12/5/09 edition
Voting will end at 6am EST on 11/29/09.

Disclaimer:
Multiple Votes from the same IP Address will not count.  Only the first vote from that IP address will count.  Surveymonkey.com  is set to restrict it to one vote per computer instead of one vote per IP Address so sometimes it goofs up and allows the same computer to vote twice.  It’s the only flaw with the site that I can see and I think it may have been a temporary glitch that they resolved.

Voting Tiebreakers:
In the event of a tie in voting, I use the following tiebreakers, in order
1. On The CML Chart the longest
2. Higher position on the previous CML Chart

Blake does get overlooked a lot. As far as “Red Light,” I’m not still “on board” with it like a lot of people are.
